Start / Stop not working ISG MHEV

Hi all

I am new to this forum and have recently taken ownership of a ‘72 Plate’ GT Line-S T-GDI ISG 48V MHEV Sportage.
The car has a start stop button which I believe is on, from what I have read, however, since having the car this function has not worked. Could somebody shed some light on how I get this working please?

The battery has to be fully charged and works 'some of the time'.
Personally, I turn mine off.

12volt battery low, that's what dearship told me, not everyone drives 50 miles on motorway every day just to fully charge battery ....
