I have just purchased a new 2025 model Kia Sportage GT Line S and I am struggling to set up some of the features as the manual does not represent the car? The manual states that you can have audio or haptic warnings for all driver assistance functions, but I am struggling to turn off the audio for the speed limit function. I can change the settings to info only each time I start the car (which removes the audio beep), but I cannot turn off the beep every time I go 1 mph over the speed limit despite what the manual states. I would have thought that with the audio off (it is) then the speed limit on the panel would blink and not beep (similar to my previous car Mazda CX-5).
Very grateful for some advice and if there is a link to a manual that matches my car.
Warning Methods
I have the opposite problem; in my '23 Sportage I can't turn ON the audible speed limit warning (my wife keeps her eyes glued to the windscreen and rarely looks at the dashboard and hence is continually going over the limit!) Is there something I'm missing (I have set notifications volume to max)?
